Have you ever tasted color?

We partnered with our latest Flatmate, Dana Veraldi, on a Flat Vernacular version of her signature Niji dinner series. Take a peek at how we transformed our studio for the
color of honor: PINK!

We washed the space entirely with pink lighting so our guests felt completely immersed in color as they navigated our interactive space. We encouraged everyone to draw a fish from their imagination onto our studio walls as a nod to Dana’s FV pattern, Fish Fish!

When it was time to sit, guests joined us at a long table topped with a color-in version of Dana’s pattern. Pink florals popped out of hand-crafted paper Fish Fish urns that added a dash of surrealism

We always knew Dana had many talents but our team and guests were truly blown away by the meal she prepared for us. Family style dishes were served in handmade fish shaped ceramics that Dana made specifically for the dinner. We munched on radishes and butter, pink deviled eggs topped with edible florals, beet hummus with labneh and tahini, and plenty more.

To say that we're tickled pink by this event, would be an understatement.

Thank you to all who joined us for this spectacular evening and to our collaborator, Dana, for allowing us to take part in her Niji magic.
