Top Shelf: Eat With Us

Fresh, gorgeous produce from the garden and light-lingering evenings call for longer meals paired with inventive tabletop decor. We're cooking up lots of herby salads and grilled pizzas, smoked meats and crunchy veggies with tangy dips. I might spend time creating a floral arrangement from my garden that speaks to our vintage Vera linen napkins, or I might toss our enamelware plates down with a few pretty paper napkins and call it a day. Here are a few of our current favorite reads that inspire living a delicious and beautiful life.

Stacey Mei Yan Fong's love letter to the United States is well researched, incredibly fun, and inventive (plus tasty!). There's nothing we love more than a long term research project around a super specific topic, and 50 Pies 50 States hits all the marks for us. It's a terrific hostess present and a must have for your library.

A neighbor introduced this book to us during her last (delicious) dinner party. As much as we love making individual cocktails for each person, larger parties require a more economical use of time. There are tons of excellent recipes in this book. Highly recommend picking up a copy if you love entertaining.

A beautiful ode to living a delicious, aesthetically pleasing life. With handy recipes and so much style inspiration, Joie is a book that should grace every coffee table with its presence.
