In the Mood: September
Links & Reasons
1). The new Clover side table by Grain is lovely. I'm a big fan of cork, mostly because I love the color and I like quiet spaces that absorb sound well. Now that I'm a parent of a toddler, I'm also drawn to this table for its material softness.
2). Gohar World is so inspiring. I've followed Laila Gohar's work for years. It's consistently inventive, moving, poetic, and often humorous. Her new line of glassware is gorgeous. It's thrilling to see how creative humans can and do move from one kind of creativity to another.
3). A quilted coat from Tiny Cottons' new line, Tiny Big Sister.
4). I am determined to finish this before January. The V&A has one of my favorite gift stores, and I happily filled up a basket while I was there to see the Beatrix Potter show. The Strawberry Thief is a generally overused William Morris pattern, but I still love it. I also had the pleasure of seeing a Morris tapestry during my trip to London this past summer so bought this craft as my memento.
5). What's not to love about these Jono Pandolfi serving platters?
6). We just released removable wallpaper! And some brand new colorways. Like this one. I would love to see it in a dining room with huge abstract paintings hung over it.
7). Björk is a huge reason that I became an artist. Her brand new album Fossora is fantastic. Listen to it with headphones.
