Store Policies

 

  • All sales are final. We do not accept returns nor do we grant refunds.

  • All orders are made-to-order and require payment in full before production begins. Once payment is received and production has commenced, the order cannot be cancelled or modified.

  • Rush printing is available, however lead times are at the mercy of the current printing queue.

  • Rush fees are non-refundable.

  • In no event shall FV’s liability exceed the original purchase price of the order giving rise to the claim. FV is not liable for consequential, incidental, or special damages.

  • On custom orders, design and set-up fees are non-refundable.

  • Customer represents they own or have rights to all submitted artwork and agrees to indemnify FV from any third-party IP claims arising from customer-supplied designs.

  • We inspect all products before shipping, but the final responsibility rests with the client.

  • Please inspect all products to ensure they are undamaged, BEFORE cutting, trimming, pasting, installing, or otherwise using any part of your order.

  • The product is considered used once any portion has been cut, trimmed, glued, pasted, applied to a wall, or permanently affixed in any manner. Inspection of the full order must occur prior to any such use.

  • All claims must be made within 7 days of delivery, Flat Vernacular assumes no liability after this 7 day period.

  • In the unlikely event that your product arrives damaged or misprinted, the entire order must be returned. Your product will be reprinted if deemed necessary.

  • In the rare event a return is approved, refunds are issued as store credit only, valid for 12 months.

  • Store credits are valid for one year from issue date.

  • Store credits have no cash value, and are to be used for future orders on flatvernacular.com

  • Store credits must be redeemed for one order that is equal to or greater than the value of the credit. The credit cannot be divided for multiple orders.

  • Flat Vernacular is not responsible for return shipping costs.

  • Restocking fees may apply to any returned products, this is typically 25% of the cost of the product.

  • Flat Vernacular assumes no liability for any product once it has been cut, pasted, installed, or used in any way.

  • Flat Vernacular wallcoverings must be installed by a licensed or certified wallcovering installer with documented experience installing the specific wallcovering type ordered.

  • Color variation within 10% of approved strike-off, pattern repeat misalignment of up to 1/4 inch, and slight variation in ink density inherent to digitally printing are not considered defects.

  • Our lead times do not include transit times.

  • Flat Vernacular is not liable for delays or failure to perform due to causes beyond its reasonable control, including supply chain disruptions, natural disasters, labor disputes, government actions, or acts of god.

  • Flat Vernacular assumes no liability for delays in transit times.

  • Flat Vernacular assumes no liability for damages or losses incurred during shipping. If your shipment arrives visibly damaged, note the damage with the carrier at the time of delivery and photograph the package before opening. Notify FV within 5 calendar days of delivery.

  • Flat Vernacular assumes no liability for any customs, tariffs, VAT, tax, or other local, state, country, or any other fees that apply to the use or receipt of our products.

  • Flat Vernacular assumes no liability for the quantity of products ordered.

  • Flat Vernacular assumes no liability for damages or expenses incurred by wallpaper installation.

  • Flat Vernacular assumes no liability for the performance or compatibility of other companies products with our wallpapers. This includes, but is not limited, to primer, paint, glue, adhesive, varnish, coatings, finishers, squeegees, brushes, cutting tools, liner paper, cleaning products, and other wall treatments.
