Project M.O.U.S.E.
Artist Payton Cosell Turner partnered with her local library to create a holiday art installation celebrating Simon Van Booy's novel Sipsworth. Dozens of hand-sculpted clay mice hung on a tree, available for adoption via formal application. Each approved mouse was carefully packaged in a jewelry box with a personalized adoption letter. The project reflects Turner's ongoing interest in labor-intensive artwork, human connection, and material history.
